Character Interview for Miyuki Book Tour

25 Mar

I’m interviewing Miles, a character from YA fantasy novella “Miyuki” on my blog today.

1) Can you tell us a little about yourself? Who are you? What is your role in the story?

Well, my name is Miles. I live in Jericho. In the story, I help organize everyone and help my friends train and prepare to go up against these guys that have been trying to hurt us. I’m trying to do my best to make sure no one dies. It’s harder than it looks, really.

2) What is your favorite hobby?

I really love drawing. I want to be a comic book artist some day.

3) What is the challenge you’re trying to overcome during the story?

If I’m honest, everyone else in the story can do something amazing. Mara’s great with her fire, and Miyuki can wield water. Alex has his lightning bit. And then there’s… me. I’m trying to do more, though. I hate feeling useless.

4) If you could make one wish, what would it be?

If I tell you, it might not come true. But you can probably guess based on what I just said.

5) Tell us a secret about you.

I’m in love.
