Character Interview The Howling Heart

4 Feb

We’re hosting a character interview with Quinn Gray, a character from The Howling Heart, an adult paranormal romance novel.

Character Interview

1) Can you tell us a little about yourself? Who are you? What is your role in the story?

My name is Quinn Gray, and I’m the beta female in my pack. I was born in England, but I spent most of my life in Black River, Colorado. For a time, I lost my rank to Paige, but she deserved it more. She’s from New York City and my twin brother, Riley’s, mate. I don’t think I’m fit for the rank, but it’s mine by birthright. I’m still good friends with Paige. She’s my first and only human friend. I taught her a lot about pack life, and tried to be my brother’s voice of reason and keep him out of trouble. He’s rebellious, so he never really listened to me. I miss them both terribly, and I hope to visit them in their new home one day.

2) What is your favorite hobby?

I like to read books. I hope Black River builds a library one day. If they do, you’ll probably see me there every day.

3) What is the challenge you’re trying to overcome during the story?

A good beta female needs a mate, something I unfortunately don’t have. My personality is too dominant. It’s hard to change, but I won’t give up. It’s important to my father that someone claims me, and I want to make him proud. My father is the alpha male and he expects a lot from me.

4) If you could make one wish, what would it be?

To have a mate who loves me the way I am, and to have a relationship like Riley and Paige.

5) Tell us a secret about you.

I envy my brother, not just because he has a mate and I don’t, but because he’s free to live his own life now.
